Existing policy interventions of governments on mortgage funds mobilization for the housing sector towards making it viable and productive were reviewed and analysed. The study recommends a change in the narratives through a more pragmatic and effective policy regulation geared towards making longterm mortgage funds available at a lower interest rate.
